Oct. 14, 2021 — With all the media attention laser-focused on 90-year old Bill Shatner's trip into space, no one reported on Red Rhino's photo-bomb of the event. The rhinoceros was unavailable for comment.
Red Rhino at the Tokyo OLympics!
Yes, our crimson buddy was there representing the tiny Republic of Kvetchnia. Being the only participant from that country, Red Rhino participated in a wide assortment of number of events!!
Maybe you spotted Red Rhino proudly showing Kvetchnia's colors during the opening ceremonies!
Heartbreaking loss for the Red Rhino in the single scull preliminaries. The scull broke apart due to the excess weight, giving the win to Olga Vynchkovochenko of Croatia.
Rough day at the equestrian center during the Eventing competition for Red Rhino. The horse Motza Belle had second thoughts about getting her 1500 pound rider over the first jump. Thankfully both horse and rider were unhurt.
Red Rhino headed to the aquatic center for some R&R on his day off. Unfortunately, it was during the artistic swim pairs competition. CANNONBALL!
More bad luck for Team Kvetchnia. During a quarterfinals in the golf competition Red Rhino shanked his ball into the infamous "Devil's Tree"on the 14th hole. Ended +5 for the round, and out of the running.
Red Rhino's last hope to medal in this Olympics came up short in the Rhythmic Gymnastics event. Caught on the horns of a dilemma, as usual. Well, there's always 2024!
